Rental Property Management Tips – Declare Speculation & Vacancy Tax
The deadline for annual declaration is 31st Mar. Property Owners in the designated taxable regions should receive a declaration letter at the mailing address on file with BC Assessment, by end Feb.
Annual declaration is still required even if you think you won’t be required to pay the tax. If you don’t declare by the deadline, you will be charged the annual tax.
